Condor Golf is a mid-size, off-course specialty shop with brick-and-mortar store and an ecommerce website. We have built thousands of custom fit clubs and pre-assembled clubs for our customers since 1975. In the 1970's, all the woods were genuine persimmon wood and the irons were manufactured from raw blank heads that were cast in the USA. The whole industry changed with the first "metalwoods" in the early 1980's, however we still hand made all the persimmon heads. During the 1990's, metalwoods took over completely as they were more readily available. The finishing products used on persimmon woods became non-existent.  Now in 2011, club heads and shafts have become incredibly easy to hit.  The large titanium driver heads can help even bad golfers to hit much straighter and longer tee shots.  Hybrid clubs have made radical changes in hitting long iron shots.  They are much easier to swing and get positive results.  These club innovations make it easier than ever to enjoy playing golf.

One constant that has stayed the same over the past 38 years is that every person needs some type of custom fitting in order to enhance or improve their golf game. The large "name brand" golf companies mass produce golf clubs to sell to large discount store chains in hopes of convincing the general public that custom fit golf clubs are only needed by experienced, lower scoring golfers. This is absolutely untrue...golfers who need custom golf clubs the most are beginners or higher scoring players.  And this is what Condor Golf does! I specialize in making custom fit, game improvement golf clubs for golfers who are inconsistent and score 90 or higher for 18 holes. Since 90% of all golfers score higher than 90, I believe that my custom golf clubs will help more people to play better golf than using Callaway, Taylormade or Nike brand of clubs.
