Most beginning golfers try to sweep or pick the ball off the ground to make the ball get airborne. Unfortunately, they end up hitting the ground before hitting the ball or the dig deep into the ground. Cabriolet Irons simply help the club head glide along the ground and into the ball so the shots are more solid. The wider sole moves the center of gravity lower on the clubhead which results in shots that get up faster and fly higher for better results. The huge hitting face will give instant confidence in hitting more consistent shots. In addition there is reduced offset for a cleaner, straight-forward look. Each club in the set required a distinct sole radius to complement the progressive sole width (wider in the longer irons and gradually reducing in size in the scoring irons).
