The Avatar Series wedges feature a 4-way cambered sole to hit from a variety of lies. The pre-worn heel allows the face to open up for delicate "flop shots" and "bump and run" shots around the green.  The Avatar Wedge Series have a lower leading edge of the face to groundline measurement.  This is extremely helpful to avoid a bladed shot performed off a tight lie or firm sand in the bunker.  USGA conforming square grooves in an unplated 8620 carbon steel model.
