The patent pending adjustable 8-position hosel defines the new Prophet Fairway Woods by Condor Golf. Each hosel position provides differing lie angles and face angles, allowing you to optimize the club to suit your swing tendencies. The hosel is instantly adjustable, and changes can be made on-the-spot. The adjustable hosel is not designed as fit and play: a club you can be fit for on the spot and played immediately.
Now with the interchangeable Prophet 8-position adapter each hosel insertion provides differing lie angles ranging from 2° upright to 2° flat and face angles that range from 2° open to 2° closed, allowing you to optimize the club to suit your swing tendencies.
Need a #3 fairway wood that can provide a draw on a certain hole and a #5 fairway wood that can create a cut for another? No problem.
The fairway woods feature the same shape and their compact size allows for some degree of workability that most behemoth geometric designs do not. Their variable face thickness provides for an incredible crisp sound and solid feel at impact.
HOW DOES THIS LITTLE DEVICE GIVE YOU 8-HEADS-IN-ONE?
Why would you want to make these adjustments? First, it can be used to correct for swing flaws. Say you constantly slice. It would be a simple matter to adjust the clubhead to the most closed position to help straighten out your shot. Secondly, it can be used to help manage the course. Say the terrain is playing fast and dry. You decide that today, you want to play a fade to get a higher ball.
So how easy is it to change positions? There is an orientation mark on the adapter. Decide which one of the 8 positions you want to set the clubhead, insert the shaft (with the adapter), tighten the screw from the sole, and you’re all set to play!
