  • Apollo Stepped Steel Shaft: While this is a good steel shaft, it is designed for golfers whose maximum average #5 Iron is 163 yards. So if you hit an average #5 Iron longer than 163 yards, you should consider the Custom Assembled option.

  • Karma Black Velvet Grip: This is a good basic grip, however it is only available in Standard Size.

  • FST Steel Shafts: These upgrade shafts are designed for any #5 Iron distance. Manufactured by KBS Steel Shafts (widely used on the PGA Tour)

  • PURE Grips® Pro Grip: (Guaranteed to remain tacky, supple and perform in all weather conditions and manufactured in the USA!). Available in ALL grip sizes!

  • Lie Angle: Standard, 1° Upright, 1° Flat (This helps hit more accurate shots)

 

Sole width is larger and more weighted for higher trajectory shots.

XF High Flight Irons by Condor Golf are designed to help higher scoring golfers to hit consistent, high flying shots to the green. An offset neck corrects fades and slices by delaying ball impact a fraction of a second to help get the face squared plus the extra wide, rounded sole prevents the club from digging deep into the ground. The XF High Flight is the latest generation of game-improvement irons. These are more chiseled to garner more of a dramatic appearance plus the center of gravity was pushed even deeper and lower for improved performance. Another way to put it is the XF stands for extra forgiveness.
