XV Tour Blade Irons are designed for players who score 75 - 85 and want a compact smaller size head in a cavity back for moderate off-center hit forgiveness.
The XV Tour Blade is designed with a shorter blade length, minimal offset and a very thin top line. The 304 Stainless Steel provides an unprecedented level of feel. Many "blade" style irons have more weight on the heel side (near the shaft) plus they also have a higher center of gravity. The XV Tour has a shorter neck and that weight is re-positioned on the toe end so that the center of gravity is located in the precise center of the score line area to reward a well struck shot. In addition, since this iron does not use the "undercut cavity" design, there is more mass situated directly behind the ball to promote solid hits.
The leading edge has a "Tour Grind" that helps produce the correct divot upon impact.
Again, it is specifically designed for better players who not requiring ultra game improvement features.
