Player Profile (Score): Intermediate (83-85), Advanced (78-82)
Tour Blade Irons are designed with a shorter blade length, minimal offset and a very thin top line. Many "blade" style irons have more weight on the heel side (near the shaft) plus they also have a higher center of gravity. In addition, since this iron does not use the "undercut cavity" design, there is more mass situated directly behind the ball to promote solid hits.
The XV Tour has a shorter neck and that weight is re-positioned on the toe end so that the center of gravity is located in the precise center of the score line area to reward a well struck shot.
The leading edge has a "Tour Grind" that helps produce the correct divot upon impact.
