Club Description
All Single Length irons are designed for golfers who play occasionally AND who have moderate golf ability. These types of players would normally score mid 80's to higher 90's for 18 holes on a regulation course. This would cover 90% of all recreational golfers.
Not all "Single Length" clubs are the same...some are the made to the length of a 7-Iron while others are shorter length.
EQ1-NX Single Length irons are the highest quality clubs in the golf industry and they provide moderate improvement in shot consistency with the main benefit being identical swing feel for every club. EQ1-NX irons are built to an 8-iron length of 36.5" length using steel shafts or 36.75" for graphite. This shorter length offers better shot consistency and a higher percentage of on center hits. The Gap Wedge and Sand Wedge profile shapes are combined with milled faces and a custom sole grind.
EQ-1 Irons are 2-piece hollow body design.

Lie Angle
Lie angle of your clubs is essential. It can affect shots hit with both woods and irons because it will greatly affect the initial direction of your shots. Lie angle is defined as the angle between the shaft and the ground line when the club is measured in normal playing position with the center of the sole touching the ground line.
The lie angle is much more important on irons than on woods due to club length and loft angle of the woods. It can still be of use on the woods in extreme cases.
There is an easy way to measure if your lie angle is correct on your irons. All you need is a Sharpie Permanent Marker. Draw a straight line on the golf ball, and have it facing up and down the club face. After you make impact the line will appear on the face. If it’s pointing towards the toe, then your club is too upright. If it’s pointing towards the heel, then it’s too flat. If the line is perpendicular to the grooves on the face, then your lie angle is correct.
