Product Description
What exactly is the difference between a “conventional length” iron set and a "single length" set? Well, as you probably know, a conventional iron set has 1/2" length increments between each club which means that ball striking consistency can be an issue. Pinhawk SL Irons are a solution to that problem. In addition, the swingweight and flex are also the same. Pinhawk irons are built to a length of 36.75" using steel shafts and 37" using graphite shafts.
Pinhawk SL’s incorporate a "game assistance" design without looking “clunky”, and they have extreme perimeter weighting and a true deep undercut for the ultimate in forgiveness.
If all the clubs have the same length, the same total weight, the same headweight, and the same balance point it will enable the golfer to use the same stance, posture, swing plane – the same everything in the swing. Single length clubs have a chance to offer a higher level of swing repeatability and shot consistency for each of the clubs in the set.

1. Early Release means the downswing to the ball is started with the hands. Generally done by beginners or higher scoring players who score 90 +.
2. Midway Release means the downswing to the ball is started with some body movement before the hands start to uncock. Generally done by Intermediate Players who score 82 - 89.
3. Late Release means the downswing to the ball is started by weight shift in the legs, followed by the trunk of the body and finally the hands uncocking very near impact with the ball. Always done by advanced players who score 70 - 79.
