Average Drive Carry Distance

Be honest about your AVERAGE Carry distance in order to get the correct shaft for your ability. Carry Distance is ball in the air distance ONLY. Do not include distance on the ground.

Backswing Length

Backswing Length Hands Shoulder Height or Lower Backswing Length Hands Higher Than Shoulders

Wrist Cock Release Point on Downswing

1. Early Release means the hands uncock to start the downswing to impact with the ball. Done by players who score 90 +.
2. Midway Release means the hands start to uncock 1/2 way to impact with the ball. Done by Players who score 80 - 89.
3. Late Release means the hands uncocking very near impact with the ball. Done ONLY by players who score 70 - 79.

Face Angle

Face Angle Fitting can be done by bending the Hosel (neck) of the club. The correct face angle will eliminate the hook or the slice.

Lie Angle

Lie angle on woods is less important on woods due to club length and loft angle, however it can still be used in extreme cases. Below is a chart that gives lie angle based on height and wrist-to-floor (W-F) measurement. Use this as a "starting point" when determining the ideal lie angle for you.

Just a note to let you know the 919THI Driver is working well. Very well, considering the user. The club is solid and, while not persimmon, it is fun to hit. Looking forward to adding more of your work to the bag. Enjoy the 4th.

Hey Gary!

The Wishon 919 you built for me is great. I've bought several drivers over the past 20 years and this one could be my favorite. I've played two rounds with it and have hit four bad drives, none of which was the clubs fault. I thought the shortened length of the club would cost me a little distance, however with little to no slice it really goes out there. I may have to get a three wood from you before too long!

Thank you sir!
