Condor Golf is an authorized dealer for Wishon Golf

Sterling Single Length irons offers the main benefit of the Single Length concept of identical swing feel for every club. They are designed to be built to 36.5" (8-iron) using steel shafts (36.75" for graphite). This is a shorter length than other single length sets by intent to offer better shot consistency and a higher percentage of on center hits for each club.

Identical length and lie allow the golfer to use the same stance, same posture, same swing plane. High COR # 6, 7 irons offer proper distance for the low loft clubs at the shorter single length. Conventional cast carbon steel in the #8 to gap wedge with 5° loft increments offer proper distance gaps and proper distance with the high loft clubs. Other single length sets may generate too much distance with the high loft clubs.

Single Length clubs allow for a very high percentage of golfers to gain a moderate improvement in swing and shot consistency.

To assist our club fitting, feel free to send a video of your swing.
1. Using your phone or tablet, have a friend video your swing. Do at least 2 swings with one facing directly at you and the other from behind looking straight down the line of flight.
2. Attach the video to an email and send to support@condorgolf.com
3. We will analyze your swing and send our recommendations for club specifications.

Club Length

Stand on flat surface and place your arms in a relaxed position by your sides. Measure from the wrist crease to the floor (as shown in the image below).

Measuring for Club Length

Loft Angle

Loft Angle is the desired height you would like for all iron shots. Higher iron shots normally go straighter and longer than low iron shots. Irons can be bent 3° higher or lower. Look at the picture below to determine what flight you want or need.

Ball Flight

Lie Angle

Lie angle is very important on irons because it will determine ball flight direction. Below is a chart that gives lie angle based on wrist-to-floor measurement. Use this as a "starting point" when determining the ideal lie angle for you.

Wrist-to-Floor Measurement

40+" → 2° Upright
39+" → 2° Upright
38+" → 2° Upright
37+" → 2° Upright
36+" → 1° Upright
34+" to 35" → Standard
33+" → 1° Flat
32+" → 1° Flat
31+" → 2° Flat
30+" → 2° Flat
29+" → 2° Flat

Gary built my sterling irons last Jan ('17). I had them de-lofted 2 degrees and added 2 hybrids (4/5 iron replacements). Clubs came in as promised and were beautifully put together. He also built me a 5-wood and 3 wedges (all Wishon). The irons take a minute to get used to. Mostly for the longer irons/hybrids. Because they are all the same length, it's a test of confidence. Once you learn to trust them, you'll never go back to conventional club lengths. The key with these single length clubs is accuracy. Ball dispersion tightens dramatically. I love these clubs and recommend them to everyone. Gary should be number one on your list for the build. Excellent craftsmanship! Thanks again Gary
