The XV HT irons have a nearly 30% wider sole width and a slightly shallower face height than the Standard XV irons. What does this do? It helps you get the ball up in the air better from virtually any lie while maintaining maximum forgiveness (the HT stands for "High Trajectory").
The HT's feature a deep undercut cavity like the Standard version for the ultimate in forgiveness and an ample amount of offset to help the player square up the face at impact. Enhanced heel-toe weighting enables the player to hit both straighter and more solid shots.
These are great "super game-improving" irons for the beginner, slower swinger, or the higher handicap golfer. Players that tend to sweep the ball off the ground also will benefit from this great design. A great value at this price for these premium quality irons.
